Welcome to the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office website. As your Sheriff, I am very pleased to offer you a look into the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office. The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office is located in Mendenhall, Ms, the county seat. The Sheriff’s Office patrols 709 miles of roads and provides law enforcement protection for the residents of Simpson County . The area of the county is 591 square miles and serves a population of over 29,000 citizens. We operate a full service law enforcement agency composed of several different divisions including Administrative, Civil, Criminal Investigations Narcotics, Reserve, Acadamy and Patrol. The Simpson County Jail is a 185 bed full service adult detention facility located 120 Cemetery Street, Mendenhall, Ms. 39114. The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office also has an enhanced 911 communications center that dispatches for all county law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services in the county.The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office employs 45 very dedicated and professional men and women. Every employee of the Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the citizens of Simpson County and those visiting.
